General English Courses
Morning classes focus on grammar and new language from the course book allowing students to improve the four language skills; reading, writing, speaking and listening. Afternoon classes study one topic each week allowing students to speak and listen in English in a natural, communicative way.

Cambridge Exam Courses
Nelson English Centre provides specialised Cambridge examination preparation courses for both the FCE (First Certificate in English) and CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) exams.
Students are given a course book which they use throughout the course. Morning classes focus on reading, writing and use of English tasks. Afternoon classes focus on speaking, listening and use of English tasks. Our specialised Cambridge curriculum has seen Nelson English Centre achieve a higher than average percentage of exam passes in New Zealand.
A $200 flight credit is available to students if the exam test venue is not in Nelson.
Prices include tuition, exam materials ($100), exam fees ($400) & exam administration. Speaking Window Dates to be confirmed once numbers are known.

Full time IELTS exam course
Subject to confirmation as published on the official IELTS website. Students may register for IELTS at any test venue in NZ, including Nelson. Early registration (at least one month prior to test) is recommended.
Exam costs $425 in Nelson, subject to confirmation by IELTS Test Centre at time of registration
